  • ACTION: ALL TSPTF MEMBERS: We highly recommend listening to the complete Zoom recordings of BOTH the NA/EU meeting and the APAC meeting in order to have a full understanding of Samuel Smith's strawman protocol proposal. Note that this means an investment of 2.25 hours of listening time (or longer, as this is one set of recordings that you may actually wish to run at SLOWER than normal speed rather than faster). But it is worth listening to the entire recordings of both meetings to fully understand both the substance and the impact of what Sam is proposing.
  • ACTION: Wenjing Chu to study the slides Sam presented and prepare his proposed next steps for our next regular meeting in 2 weeks (June 28).

Wenjing will present his thoughts about Samuel Smith's strawman and his own proposal about TSP protocol design. If feedback is positive, then he has a suggestion for next steps.

Wenjing proposes that we develop a "consolidated position paper" between the proposals as a next step.

The presentation slides are here: https://github.com/wenjing/Inter-Trust-Domain-Protocol/blob/main/ITDP%20Trust%20Spanning%20%26%20SPAC.pdf

Note: SPAC is the correct spelling - it's now corrected in the above link. Please note that the screen captures below had incorrect spelling as "SCAP".

Summer schedule planning

Leads

We officially decided in last week's TSPTF meeting to switch over to meeting every Wednesday (instead of 3-out-of-4 Wednesdays) starting in July.

However, we are officially entering summer vacation season. Drummond will be on vacation the next two weeks, as will several other TSPTF members, so we propose to have our next meeting on Wednesday July 19.

ACTION: Drummond Reed to ask Michelle Janata
