3. Mechanics of GHPC members joining ToIP

  • David Luchukexplained the manner in which new members, joining Trust over IP from Good Health Pass Collaborative would complete the membership process and be on-boarded.
  • Scott Nicholas clarified that existing members of Trust over IP joining the Interoperability Working Group for Good Health Pass and new members joining Trust over IP and signing the new Working Group's charter would each be presented with an acknowledgment that the Foundation's overall Project Charter is transitioning to a revised version on April 9.


4. Meeting schedule and announcements

  • David Luchuk provided an overview of meetings expected to take place in the next two weeks, as well as messages and announcements that will be released, if the Steering Committee agrees to approve and adopt the charter for the Interoperability Working Group for Good Health Pass.


5. Open Discussion

  • Scott Nicholas indicated that revised wording in the charter for the Interoperability Working Group for Good Health Pass ought to read "should" instead of "shall" in regard to the expectation that the Working Group will participate and contribute to the ecosystem community of practice in the Foundation. He added that it is the role of the Steering Committee to monitor whether this is occurring or not. 
  • Karl Kneisindicated that Trust over IP processes are intended to ensure connectivity and collaboration that may not otherwise take place across working groups. Recent examples where this has not occurred were raised. He added that the issue at play is how Trust over IP chooses to manage its ecosystems.
  • Paul Knowlessuggested that Trust over Ip has developed valuable expertise across many areas, and this varied input from across current working groups needs to be brought to bear on the Good Health Pass work.
  • John Jordanreiterated that it is already the Steering Committee's role to challenge Working Group leads to ensure they are meeting requirements in the development of deliverables. This is part of approving deliverables.
  • Charles Walton asked if there are fundamental objections to the approach being proposed that would prevent the approval of the proposed charter for working group.
  • John Jordanproposed that important questions being raised in the meeting be pursued after a decision is made on this specific proposal.


6. Resolution . Resolution

  • Drummond Reed asked for any objections to passing the resolution by which the charter for the Interoperability Working Group for Good Health Pass is accepted for adoption.
  • This resolution was passed by consensus agreement of the committee.
