50 minsReview of outcome of Mini-TSP Workshop

We will review the outcomes of last week's "mini-workshop" of Sam, Wenjing, and Drummond, hosted by Sam in his Salt Lake City office. It resulted in the following "seven pillars" of the proposed design, summarized in this early draft blog post (hosted on the ToIP Google Drive so it should be available to all ToIP members):

  1. Verifiable Identifiers
  2. Out-of-Band Introductions (OOBIs)
  3. CESR V1.1
  4. ESSR (Encrypt Sender, Sign Receiver)
  5. ToIP Connect, ToIP Tunnel, and ToIP Route
  6. ToIP Context
  7. Trust Task Protocol Framework

During the discussion, we also referred to Wenjing's presentation on ITDP Trust Spanning & SPACFor notes on this discussion, listen to either of the Zoom meeting recordings linked at the start of this page, or see the comments added to the early draft blog post.

The general consensus was that these "pillars" — with some adjustments — did indeed form the basis for the design of the TSP, and thus that we have reached the end of the consolidation stage and are ready to prepare the first complete Working Draft.

ACTION: Wenjing Chu, with the support of Samuel Smith, Drummond Reed, and other TSPTF members, will prepare a first Working Draft for discussion beginning at the next meeting on 6 September 2023.
