Objective

The purpose of the Ecosystem White Paper Task Force (WPTF) is to facilitate publication of ToIP white papers, supporting priority activities of the EFWG – specifically, to promote EFWG as a Centre of competence for the education and promotion of the role of ToIP Layer Four ecosystems.

Terms of Reference

White Paper nominations should align with the TOIP Mission and Ecosystem Working Group Objectives.

Deliverables

  1. Publication of White Papers
  2. Establish ongoing communications with ToIP Communications Committee, to ensure
    1. Consistency of messaging and publication standards
    2. Effective communication channels with all ToIP Working Groups, towards
      1. Collaborative publication efforts
      2. Shared understanding of resource/reference material (documents, templates, graphics, publications)
      3. Unique identifier assignation to publications
  3. Define publication categories
    1. Use Case – “ToIP and [your industry]
    2. Ecosystem Challenge – identifies and challenge within a specific ecosystem and proposes a solution (hypothetical, piloted or implemented)
    3. [ ]
  4. Communication of and nomination protocol of white papers in development
  5. Publication of “WPTF – Author Guideline”, to
    1. Provide a clear scope of requirements and recommendations to authors who wish to submit a paper for publication including white paper components and descriptions
    2. Provide a sample white paper
  6. Establish white paper review process to ensure
    1. Publication meets ToIP standards and requirements outlined in “WPTF – Author Guideline”
    2. Communication protocols
      1. Regarding status of white paper review
      2. With submission author(s) when necessary to promote successful outcome

  7. Publication of “WPTF White Paper Review Process”, to
    1. Provides clear description of ToIP EFWG review process including communication protocols to ensure open and collaborative efforts for successful publication
    2. Define process and requirements for co-authorship with external entities
