15 minsDiscussion on what would make a 'ToIP trust registry'

Discussion about what kind minimal governance of a trust registry we might consider for a 'ToIP trust registry'

A trust registry should publish (machine actionable):

  • Interchange Std (which may include a specific API
  • CRUDA rules
  • Identifier of the GA
  • Credentials of the GA to help people judge if this is something they are willing to trust

The organizations are already likely to have their own processes and governance policies for how they determine how they build their own 'trust lists'. However, they may be looking to add  digitization and make these accessible for verification tasks. They may be looking to ToIP for advice on how to create this trust list. Our discussion moved on to what are the minimal components of governance that would be needed (additionally) that would enable them to turn existing trust lists into something suitable for verification tasks.
