Only members of ToIP who have signed the necessary agreements are permitted to participate in this activity beyond an observer role. New Members: Shreya Kothari, Callum Haslam Scott urges the participants to know more about vLEI work at GLEIF in the context of the work underway at this Task Force. Philip mentions the topic of "How do we trust the issuers?" Steven mentions the paradox of whether to do governance first or the technology/implementation, especially since the technology moves much more rapidly. Scott walks the group through https://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc3647.txt as necessary reading to explore some of the topics to be covered by this TF. Also, Scott's work on the Minimum Viable Credential Policy Template for Issuers of Verifiable Credentials (Class 2) is available here (Google Doc link).
