The mission of the Service Discovery Task Force (SDTF) is to develop specifications that enable discoverability of services in a decentralized context.  Our focus is on fostering a dynamic and scalable architecture where services, akin to those in distributed systems like Spotify, can operate independently and interact seamlessly.In our vision, the Service Discovery Specification will address the challenges inherent in a decentralized service architecture, such as the constant changes in the location of services due to the dynamic nature of machines in the network. This includes but is not limited to, helping endpoint systems in the ToIP stack learn more about the following: 

• service endpoints
• service capabilities
• service features
