  • Charles Walton explained that many organizations are working on different version of a health passport. Challenges facing all of them include identity binding, interoperability and complying with government regulations to provide an assurance of safety to all travellers.
  • Taking a vaccination credential, binding it securely to a person's identity and making that useable in a digital wallet is a tall order, especially under tight timeframes - aim to have a blueprint that defines "what good looks like" by end of Q2 2021.
  • The Good Health Pass Collaborative offers willing companies and organizations with a place to work together. Trust over IP has been asked to provide its leadership and expertise in developing a digital trust framework.

ID2020 - role in Good Health Pass

  • Todd Gehrke explained that ID2020 has existed since 2016 to help shape the market and support activities that advance digital identity applications.
  • ID2020 has taken on a program management role in the Good Health Pass Collaborative.
  • Priority is to produce a shared framework that can bring various credible immunization and test credentials together.
